Amie M. Evans

Amie M. Evans is just returning to the world of writing after a six-year hiatus due to a family emergency.  She is the author of 55 short stories and a novella as well as the co-editor of numerous anthologies including Queer & Catholic (with Trevor Healey) as well as past editions of Saints+Sinners: New Fiction from the Festival (with Paul J. Willis). She was inducted into the Saints and Sinners Literary Festival Hall of Fame in 2013. Her resume includes facilitating too many workshops to list; founding a Dyke Burlesque troupe as well as PussyWhipped Productions; participating in a bevy of readings; and an expired safer-sex instructor certification. She is currently rebuilding the last third of her life in an authentic and cheeky way and plans to never stop dying her hair or stop wearing fabulous dresses.
