Felice Picano

 

Felice Picano is the author of 24 books of poetry, fiction, memoirs, non-fiction and plays. His work has been translated into15 languages including Chinese, Hebrew and Slovenian. Several titles have been national and international bestsellers. An honorary Saints and Sinner Festival “Saint,” Picano recently became a Lambda Literary Foundation “Pioneer.” His recent publications include Art & Sex in Greenwich Village (2007) and a new production of his third play The Bombay Trunk, was a hit in Palm Springs. He guest-edited Volume 7 of the Paris-based Van Gogh’s Ear magazine (2010), and with Prof. Lazaro Lima compiled an anthology of GLBT Latino-American fiction for the University of Wisconsin Press, titled Ambientes. Chelsea Station Editions published Picano’s new collection, True Stories: Portraits in the Spring of 2011.
