Anne-christine d’Adesky

Anne-christine d’Adesky is an award-winning author of four books, journalist, documentary filmmaker and activist. Her books include The Pox Lover: An Activist’s Decade in New York and Paris (UWP, 2017), a 2018 Lambda Literary Finalist (memoir); Beyond Shock: Charting the Landscape of Sexual Violence in Post-Quake Haiti (UCSB, 2014); Moving Mountains: The Race to Treat Global AIDS (Verso 2004), and Under the Bone (FSG, 1994), a Haiti novel. She moved to New Orleans in 2020 and launched Q-Roux, an online community for Nola queer creatives.
