Alan Williams is a communications consultant, writer, editor, and speaker. He works with numerous federal agencies, state governments, non-profits, and universities to ensure health education programs, campaigns, and resources are affirming, equitable, and innovative for LGBTQ+ groups. He serves as advisor to the John Burton Harter Foundation that makes possible queer art exhibitions, initiatives, and publications, including A Tale of Two Cities: Patrick Angus in New York and J. B. Harter in New Orleans. His writing has appeared in the New Orleans Review, The Simon, and a variety of national media outlets.
