Jonathan Alexander is a writer living in Southern California with his husband Mack and animal companion Cooper. The author, co-author, or co-editor of twenty-two books, Jonathan has recently turned to memoir and creative nonfiction, having completed a trilogy (Creep: A Life, a Theory, an Apology; Bullied: The Story of an Abuse; and Dear Queer Self: An Experiment in Memoir) as well as a standalone memoir on a health crisis: Stroke Book: The Diary of a Blindspot. Jonathan has won many awards for his books, and is also a frequent contributor to the Los Angeles Review of Books. He is Chancellor’s Professor of English at the University of California, Irvine.
