St Sukie de la Croix

St Sukie de la Croix is an award-winning humorist, reporter, columnist, photographer, playwright, novelist, and historian—forty years of working in the gay and mainstream press in the US and the UK. Among his awards was Reporter of the Year 2013, from the African-American Esteem Awards for his writings on Black LGBTQ history. He has also written for Blacklines and En La Vida in Chicago. In 2012 he was inducted into the Chicago Lesbian and Gay Hall of Fame.
