Ian Henzel

Ian Henzel reinvented himself after retiring from a 42-year career in corporate technology marketing in Asia, Europe, and North America to start a new life as a publisher. In 2019 Ian founded Rattling Good Yarns Press, now entering its fifth year, focused on bringing overlooked LGBTQ+ voices to light. Rattling Good Yarns Press has released over 31 fiction and nonfiction titles. Ian has been a speaker at the Saints & Sinners LGBTQ+ Literary Festival in New Orleans, and at the Independent Publishers Association Conference where he spoke about promoting books to niche audiences. Ian is thrilled that his college years focused on classic and modern comparative literature are finally being put to good use.
