Candice Huber

Candice Huber (they/them) is the owner of Tubby & Coo’s Traveling Book Shop, a queer, feminist, decentralized indie bookstore focused on underrepresented voices and engaging queer community. They’ve been bookselling for 10 years, and they are also a small publisher and author. Candice is the Membership & Social Media Coordinator for the Southern Independent Booksellers Alliance and an instructor and dean for the Professional Bookseller School. They also serve on the national Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Committee for the American Booksellers Association. Their favorite genre is fantasy, especially queer fantasy, and they’re an expert in queer sci-fi and fantasy. They love cozy things, video games, board games, hanging out with their partner and cats, and creating spreadsheets and databases.
