David Kennerley

David Kennerley is a journalist and author specializing in LGBTQ culture. For nearly two decades, he has been an Arts and Entertainment reporter for Gay City News, the NYC-based newspaper and website. Originally from rural Pennsylvania, David moved to New York in 1987 and became addicted to nightlife. Soon he became a club flyer hoarder and an unexpected expert on queer culture. He recently published Getting In: NYC Club Flyers from the Gay 1990s, praised by The New York Times as “an electric visual stroll through New York’s 1990s gay club scene.”
