Sean Patrick Mulroy is a writer, multi-disciplinary artist, and faggotry hauntologist who was born and raised in the American South and currently lives in New York City. A 2013 Lambda Literary Fellow, 2018 writer-in-residence at Kerouac House, and 2019 winner of the Margaret Reid Prize for formal verse, Mulroy recently completed a two-month speaking tour of Europe and SWANA in support of his poetry collection, Hated for the Gods. His e-chapbook, Tortured: Poems after Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department, was released in November of 2024 and is available free-of-charge via his website.
